Il 6 aprile 2002 si è spento serenamente in Cristo, confortato dal bene e dall'affetto di tutti Padre Ignazio Settecasi . Alessandria tutta  piange la perdita di un pastore della chiesa che certamente lascia un'impronta di fede e di umilta'. I funerali avranno luogo lunedi 8 aprile alle ore 16.30  presso la chiesa madre di 
Alessandria Della Rocca.

My name is Rino Pesaturo and I am the husband of Angelina, daughter of Zio Ignazio's brother, Giuseppe. I am writing in English because my written Italian is not very good, I trust you can translate.  Zio Ignazio's family here in Adelaide, South Australia is extremely upset at his loss. He visited here twice and I was privileged to meet him during his last visit in 1993. I realise the impact he had on peoples lives, the minute they met him, because of the huge impact he made on me during the short time he was here. It seems like I have known him forever. Guiseppe Settecasi is coming to terms with his brothers loss, struggling through day by day. Whilst you are offering people the opportunity to send condolences to the family in Italy, I would like to offer my e-mail address so people can forward the same condolences to the only brother in Adelaide, Giuseppe. It would give him great courage to deal with the loss, especially, being so far away and not being close to his brothers Ignazio, Tanino & Gioacchino.  If possible, please forward any photos or correspondence of any kind that I can pass on to my father-in-law, Guiseppe.To Zio Tanino & Zio Gioacchino and families, our best wishes are with you all during this time.
